Thistle in Poland is considered as a weed. It grows on agricultural land, in fields, in meadows and on human plots. Thistle is usually tall and can reach from 1.5 m to even 4 m in height! The entire stem and leaves have many spikes. Its flowers have deep purple or even red color.
Thistle has regenerative and anti-inflammatory properties, which is why it is used to cleanse the body. It supports the digestive system and the production of enzymes and bile. It can also revoke liver damage caused by the use of e.g. drugs, medicines or alcohol. Due to its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects, thistle also may be a helpfull with removing acne.
